Lisa Sliva

Lisa began her stitching journey in 2014 with some homemade cereal box templates, a pair of scissors, and a grocery store sewing kit. Her love for English paper piecing (EPP) rapidly grew until it came to an abrupt halt a few years later when her passion turned into overwhelm in the midst of a stitch along. It was only when she shifted her perspective from the entirety of a quilt project to the simplicity of stitching a single seam, one stitch at a time, that her love affair with EPP rekindled. Now she writes soulful blog posts, beginner-friendly tutorials, and achievable quilt patterns to encourage others along their own stitching journeys, one step—or, one stitch— at a time.
