Broomfield Pattern and 5 Piece Acrylic Fabric Cutting Template Set by Karen Styles of Somerset Patchwork

Created in a traditional English medallion style, Broomfield begins with a large centre block containing 8 pointed and 6 pointed stars that have been hand stitched and appliqued in place, a delicate curved ring of ½” hexagons plus appliqued hearts. The machine pieced borders contain a mixture of blocks featuring fussy cut fabric, more appliqued hearts and hexagon motifs. The quilt finishes with an intricate hand pieced star and fabric border. The final corners continue with a ring of appliquéd hexagons.
