Inspired by a mid-19 th century embellished, needlework sampler this whimsical applique is created with individually constructed sections made with Poly fuse/Applique paper (a dissolvable stabilizer) and then appliqued to the background. This project can also be constructed using traditional needle turn appliqué.
The finished applique center measures 36” x 36”; borders, both pieced and/or appliqued can be added at a later stage to complete your project to the size you desire.
