Irene Blanck is an Australian quilt designer, author, and educator known for her expertise in appliqué and hand stitching. Based in Melbourne, she has been quilting for over 30 years and began designing her own patterns in 2007, building an international following through her teaching and published work.

Her designs often feature floral motifs, flowing vines, and carefully layered compositions that highlight the beauty of needle-turn appliqué. Irene is especially known for her ability to break down traditional techniques into manageable steps, helping quilters build confidence while developing their skills.
