The "Deco Clamshells" quilt is an easy way to try out a clamshell style pattern using only straight seams. The clamshells are built with two different diamond shapes, resulting in the illusion of a curve. The wide point on the bottom makes these shapes more accessible to an intermediate level English Paper Piecer, eliminating the fine point that makes traditional clamshells difficult.
